Daily Highlights

Wednesday - Competition begins within the International Arena with the highly anticipated National British Showjumping finals, including the Winter 128cm & 138cms finals. You could witness a star of the future, as the young showjumpers whizz around the arena as the likes of Robert Whitaker once did! The showing highlights include the EnableLink Supreme Show Hunter Pony Championship and the UKPH Young Rider M&M Supreme Championship.

Thursday - Eventers take centre stage in the Ashby Underwriting Eventers' Challenge. Bringing eventing to Hickstead, this class features many of Hickstead's permanent obstacles including the Irish Bank and the Al Shira'aa water, and sees some of the best eventing combinations go head to head, against the clock! the day also hosts two international showjumping classes and showing championship finals including the Sport Horse Breeding (GB) Supreme Hunter Championship.

Friday - Come and cheer on your home team in the Agria Nations Cup of Great Britain. This is the only chance for the British public to watch their team compete on home turf, as they battle against 7 other nations. In the showing classes, the De La Hey Family BSHA Supreme Riding Horse Champion will be decided by a panel of expert judges.

Saturday - Ladies day is always a highlight of the show with a surprise celebrity judge helping to pick out the best dressed guests, with some fabulous prizes up for grabs including weekend breaks at 5* hotels. The showjumping highlight is the Queen Elizabeth II Cup, a prestigious national class with an illustrious list of previous winners including Di Lampard, Laura Kraut and Shane Breen.

Sunday - The competition reaches fever pitch with the King George V Gold Cup, as the international stars of the showjumping world will give their all to have their name added to the winner's roll. It's also the pinnacle of the meeting's showing championships, with the prestigious Supreme Products Supreme Pony Championship and the Barberstown Castle Supreme Ridden Horse Championship.

Aside from the top-class equestrian sport, there are plenty of tempting trade stands in the shopping village, a fabulous range of bars and eateries, plus the Village Green area with daily performances to keep every member of the family entertained, including magic shows and the hobby horse derby!
